Saju vs tarot: which one should you use?
Tarot answers a question about right now. You shuffle, draw cards, and read them for the situation in front of you, so a new question gets a new spread. Saju, the Korean four-pillars birth chart, is fixed at birth. It describes your default tendencies and how you fit with specific people. Use tarot for "what should I do about this?" and Saju for "why do we keep clashing?"

Four elements vs five
Most modern tarot decks tie each suit to an element: Wands to Fire, Cups to Water, Swords to Air, and Pentacles to Earth.
Saju has no Air. It adds Wood (growth, planning) and Metal (structure, decisions), and it cares less about which element you have than about how elements feed and check each other. That's why Saju is good at two-person questions. It can say whose energy feeds whose, and whose energy checks whose.
Using both
In Korea, many saju cafés offer tarot too. A common pattern is Saju for the big picture (what you're like, what kind of year it is) and tarot for the specific question this week. They don't compete. One is a map; the other is a weather check.

Is tarot more accurate than Saju?
Neither has scientific evidence behind it. People use both as prompts for reflection. Tarot is better at opening up a specific question, and Saju gives you a stable vocabulary for your tendencies and your relationships.

Is there a tarot card for my birthday?
