Privacy Policy
The short version
We don't have accounts and we don't keep a database of readings. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising.
What you enter and where it goes
Birth date, time, and time zone (yours and, for relationship readings, the other person's): our server uses these to calculate the Saju chart. We don't store them, and we don't send the raw dates to our AI provider. The chart we do send is derived from them and could narrow a birth date down to a few days.
Pronouns and your questions (optional): these are sent to our AI provider so the reading can refer to the other person and respond to your question. We never ask for anyone's name. For follow-up questions, your earlier reading is sent back as well. We don't store any of it.
Your reading is shown in your browser only. If you close the page, it's gone unless you saved an image. Saved images leave out your question.
AI provider
Readings are generated with Anthropic's API. Anthropic processes what we send under its own terms and privacy policy and may keep API data for a limited period (see anthropic.com/legal).
Safety checks
Before a reading is written, our code automatically checks questions for signs of a crisis or of anyone under 18. If it finds them, we show support resources instead. These checks happen in the moment and nothing is stored.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies (such as _ga) and records things like pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and events such as "reading started," "reading completed," "image saved," and the feedback buttons you tap. We never send birth details or questions to Google Analytics. We've turned off Google Signals and ad personalization.
Google may collect information about your visits over time and across different websites. Our site doesn't change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. You can block these cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Our font is loaded from the jsDelivr content network, which, like any web request, receives your IP address.
Feedback
Button taps (like the "Spot on" rating or your vote on a possible Full Report) are recorded as anonymous Google Analytics events. Voting doesn't charge you anything. If you choose to open our feedback form, it's run by Google Forms under Google's privacy policy. Please don't include personal details there.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which may briefly keep technical logs such as IP address and request time for security and troubleshooting. We use IP addresses only to limit how many readings can be requested per hour. Our own code doesn't log birth details or questions.
Stored in your browser
Your text-size setting (local storage). For the rest of your browser session (session storage): that you checked the 18+ and Terms box, so you don't have to check it again, and, if a birth date under 18 is entered, a flag that blocks readings. Google Analytics cookies are described above.
Children
Saju Decode is only for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we don't create any reading that involves anyone under 18.
Your choices and contact
Because we don't keep readings, there's usually nothing to delete. If you have a question or a request about your information, email projectsa0925@gmail.com.
